Carpentry Subcontracting for Builders and Remodelers
Reliable basement framing, exterior and deck carpentry, finish carpentry, doors, trim, framing corrections, blocking, drywall board hanging, and project closeout support for licensed remodelers, builders, restoration contractors, deck companies, and window and door companies working within about 25 miles of Albertville, MN.
The hiring contractor retains the prime contract, homeowner relationship, overall project coordination, permit responsibility and trade scheduling. Cedergren Renovations controls the means and methods used to complete its defined carpentry scope, subject to plans, specifications, code requirements and site-safety rules. Each engagement must identify the specific services, compensation, responsibilities and change-order process in writing.
Status: Cedergren Renovations LLC holds Minnesota Construction Contractor Registration #IR817146, issued July 20, 2026 and expiring December 31, 2027. Construction contractor registration is not the same as a Minnesota residential building contractor or residential remodeler license. A W-9 is available on request.
Finish Carpentry & Trim Completion
Trim, casing, and finish carpentry completion work to close out a project.
Door & Window Installation
Interior/exterior door and window hanging, adjustment, and trim/casing completion.
Framing Corrections & Blocking
Out-of-square corrections and backing/blocking for fixtures and hardware.
Drywall Board Hanging
Drywall board hanging for walls & ceilings, including damaged board replacement (excluding taping, mudding & finishing).
Deck & Porch Carpentry
Deck-board replacement, deck framing repairs, porch-floor repairs, stairs, railings and skirting, excluding concrete footings and excavation.
Exterior Framing & Pergola Carpentry
Exterior wall framing, exterior framing corrections, and pergola, arbor and trellis framing on existing approved foundations.
Skylight Framing & Interior Trim
Skylight framing and interior trim support, not complete roofing work.
Callbacks & Warranty-List Work
Fast turnaround on callback items and warranty-list punch work.
Final Punch-List Completion
Closing out the last carpentry items before a project can hand off.
Progress Photographs & Closeout Notes

Short-Duration Carpentry Scope Support
Defined half-day or single-day carpentry scopes performed under a written subcontract or change order using Cedergren Renovations' own tools, methods and business operations.

Additional Approved Work
Additional time only when authorized through a written change order to an existing defined scope
Starting/launch prices. Contractor-purchased material cost is collected before ordering, and contractor-purchased materials are billed at documented cost plus a standard markup unless fixed material pricing is stated. Materials, delivery, disposal, specialty equipment, concealed conditions, and work outside the written scope are additional or excluded unless specifically included. A one-year limited workmanship warranty applies to defective workmanship within the written scope, subject to signed-agreement exclusions. Rescheduling requires two business days' notice to avoid a possible $75 late-rescheduling fee when scheduled time was specifically reserved.
Beyond Carpentry
Additional Contractor-Directed Finish Support
Available when contracted and directed by another remodeler, builder, or prime contractor: cabinet and vanity setting, LVP and floor-covering installation, drywall taping and skim-coat support, tile installation support, siding support, exterior trim support, painting and touch-ups, punch-list corrections, and project closeout.
Available through a contractor-directed project. Electrical, plumbing and HVAC work are excluded.

Property-Management & Restoration Companies
Property-management, maintenance, and restoration companies are accepted when the hiring company is the contracting party, the project is properly structured, and all applicable residential licensing and registration requirements are satisfied.
